Blue Heat Small Group Training Info

Throughout the season we will  hold small group training with different coaches.  These groups will max out at 12 or 18 kids and will focus on specific skill training for a specific level of player.  These give kids a chance to have more individual instruction from some of the top coaches in the area.

Listed Below will be what is offered to date.  More will be added as the season progresses.




Richie was a 4 year Varsity Player for Jason Hughes at Bolles and a 3 year starter.  He is currently heading into his senior year as the starting SG for Wartburg College in Iowa. Richie had a career college high this past season with 29 points in a single game.  Throughout his high school and college career, Richie has been one of the top shooters in the state and now in the NCAA. No one has a better grasp of shooting or a better work ethic than Richie.  He's bringing that to Blue Heat this summer with our small group shooting camps.  These camps will max out at 12 per session.  Richie will bring what he has learned from his college coaches, and from Jason Hughes, as well as his own routines to help kids get the most out of their shooting workouts.  These will be high activity, intense workouts designed to teach kids how to shoot through game like fatigue.  Dates and times are below.  We will have 2 different age groups per session.  Each program will be designed for that specific age group.  Boys and Girls Rising Grades 4th - 12th are welcome.  In order to register, create or login to your account and choose the camp that works for you.  If you'd like to do both sessions, neither camp will be identical so they will get something new from both.

The older age group camps are designed to be for kids that played basketball at the school or travel team level.  The younger age group is designed for kids that have played organized basketball at the rec or travel level.
