Clay County Blue Heat Boys Winter Teams

Winter Competitive Rec League registration is now open
We are excited to announce our expansion into Clay County. For the 2023 season we will be offering boys 3rd-8th grade.
This is our 9th season playing in the largest league in North Florida, North Florida Basketball League. This is designed to to give our players a place to play competitive basketball against other teams from this area. It is comprised of boys and girls teams up to 8th Grade.
We offer multiple teams at every grade level. Through evaluations, players will be placed on a team that matches their skill level. We feel this gives all players the best opportunity to play and improve their skills. There will be multiple divisions that also match the skill level of the teams. This provides the best competitive atmosphere for our players.
We look to fill 2-3 teams per age group. Once registration fills for an age group, it will be closed for that age group and a wait list will be formed. We max out in most age groups, so it is advised to sign up early.
Each team will have a professional paid coach, full uniform (jersey and shorts), 10 game season and possibly playoffs.
Clay teams will practice out of local gyms in the Clay Country area and be coached by local paid coaches out of Clay County.
Games will be played at various high school and middle school gyms mostly throughout St Johns County, as well as ABOVE, Providence and Bolles.
I know that many kids will be trying out for their middle school teams in the winter. We are flexible in accommodating young players and working around their middle school teams.

- Open to Boys 3rd-8th
- Teams will practice out of Clay County Area
- If needed, evaluations will be held late Oct, early Nov
- Games will be played on Saturdays and Sundays at various gyms
- Teams will be coached by Paid Professional Coaches
- Practices will be held 4 times a month
- Practices will begin in Nov
- Practice day will be determined by your coach
- Length of Season will be 10 games plus tournament (Jan - Feb), followed by playoff
-12-14 Skill Sessions are included in fees
- Cost of Program will be $485
*includes jersey, league entry, insurance, paid coach, weekly practice, skill sessions

REFUND POLICY
Refund Policy: A full refund will be given if a team in your child's age group and/or location choice is unable to be filled.
A full refund will be given regardless of formation of team up until Oct 1st.
After Oct 1st, up until Nov 1st, a 50% refund will be issued if a team in your child's age group and location is formed
and you wish to pull your child from the program.
After Nov 1st, no refund will be given unless special circumstances exist.
Special circumstances will be determined valid by Jason Hughes, Owner of Blue Heat.
