Coach Steve Rydzewski, will teach big men and guards the skills needed to play inside on the block and then how to take your man outside. In today's game bigs need to be able to play both inside and outside. Guards also need to learn the skills of moves inside on the block and from the high post. This camp will concentrate on these skills, understanding leverage inside and how to seal as well as how to make the entry pass to someone who has sealed their man. To often these skills are overlooked in the modern game but are equally important to create the well rounded player who poses problems for defenses.

Coach Steve comes with a wealth of expereince. He is currently the JV coach at The Bolles School and works with the Varsity players on inside play. Coach Steve was a First Team All State and First Team All Area his senior year at The Bolles School. He would play college ball at Presbyterian University, where he was named Freshmen of The Year in the conference. As a senior at Bolles, Steve Averaged 23 ppg, 15 rpg, while shooting 40% from 3 pt range. Coach Steve was a big man who could also play outside before it became the fad in basketball.
